I met Derrick in the ALS parking lot on the 2nd day of my new job at the ALS in 2012. When I popped my trunk open, my softball mitt fell to the ground; Derrick walked over to make an informal introduction and asked me if I played softball. I told him I was an avid softball player and he recruited me on the spot in the ALS parking lot to be on his team. We were instant friends and later softball teammates. I enjoyed playing and winning a few championships while playing with the Crofoot brothers (Derrick & Garret). I enjoyed working with the Shipping & Receiving Team in Building 7, Derrick was always so accommodating and reliable, he will be sorely missed. Giselle
